Paris Olympics 27 July 2024: Shooter Manu Bhaker is in contention to qualify for the Women’s 10m Air Pistol final at the Chatearoux Shooting Centre. Earlier, Sarabjot Singh and Arjun Singh Cheema failed to qualify for the Men’s 10m Air Pistol final after finishing 9th and 18th, respectively. Sarabjot was in contention to qualify for the final, but failed to grab the final spot. This comes after two Indian pairs failed to make it to the final of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event. On the other hand, rower Balraj Panwar finished 4th in Heat 1 of the men’s individual skulls. With only 3 automatic qualification spots from each Heats, Balraj will have to rely on the repechage round.
