11 January New Delhi ! Ritesh Dogra, student of Dronacharya Bhupendra Dhawan, created history by performing brilliantly in the Pro-Olympia Powerlifting held in Florida, America, breaking the record of India’s Mukesh Singh Gehlot by winning 2 gold and 1 silver medal. He has become the second player from India to do so. Earlier, this feat was achieved by Mukesh Singh Gehlot, also a student of Dronacharya Bhupendra Dhawan in 2017 when he won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal. It is a great coincidence that both are students of Dronacharya Bhupendra Dhawan.
On this magnificent achievement, Ritesh Dogra, who himself is a resident of Himachal, was given a grand welcome in Himachal Pradesh. On this occasion, Dronacharya Bhupendra Dhawan wished Ritesh Dogra every success for his bright future. He also congratulated the people of Himachal Pradesh and said that any goal can be achieved with full dedication and hard work.
On the occasion of welcome programme, Mr. India Vikas Kumar and Junior Mr. India Yashveer Sharma were also present. The program was organized by Shri Vishwajit Singh Bogati, Director of Dharamshala Sidhbari branch of Dronacharya The Gym. Dronacharya Bhupendra Dhawan expressed his gratitude to Shri Vishwajit Singh Bogti for organizing this event.
