Kajal Dhochak secured her second straight U20 World title, and Tanu Sharma along with Savita had to be content with silver medals at the U20 Wrestling World Championship held here.
The 18-year-old Kajal claimed the 76kg crown with a dominant 7-0 win over China’s Jingru Sun in the summit clash. Last year, she had clinched the U20 World title in the 72kg category.
Kajal has now moved up to the senior ranks, having already claimed gold at the Ranking Series event in Mongolia this June, besides winning gold at the Budapest event in July. She had also emerged victorious at the U20 Asian Championship in Pattaya.
