Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday interacted with members of the Rajasthani community in Coimbatore, praising their contribution to economic growth and describing their journey as a strong example of resilience and enterprise.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the Rajasthani community has played a significant role in Tamil Nadu’s development through sustained efforts in trade and industry. She said their hard work has not only strengthened businesses but also supported the state’s broader economic framework. The Chief Minister expressed appreciation for the warm welcome extended to her and said she was pleased to engage with families who have lived in Coimbatore for decades. She noted that many members of the community have been settled in the city for over 50 years, with newer generations born and raised there. She said their commitment and determination have helped shape Coimbatore’s growth over time.
