Television actress Akanksha Chamola has confirmed that she and actor Gaurav Khanna are heading for divorce, months after dismissing rumours about trouble in their marriage. The revelation came during the premiere episode of Lock Upp Season 2, where the actress disclosed that the couple had been living separately for the past year.
During the reality show’s opening episode, Akanksha was asked to reveal a personal secret. She surprised the hosts and contestants by announcing that she and Gaurav had decided to end their marriage. She said they had been living apart for a year but had chosen to keep the separation private until now.
Akanksha clarified that there is no bitterness between them and that they continue to communicate despite their separation. She explained that they mutually realised they were not compatible as life partners and decided to part ways amicably.
