SGGSCC celebrates 40th Annual Day

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi, organized its 40th Annual
Day on Tuesday, 7th May 2024 . Principal of the college, Prof. Jatinder Bir Singh, in his
address, congratulated the students for their achievements in academics and co-curricular
events. He recounted how in its brief history of forty years, the college has made a
significant mark in the educational landscape of India. SGGSCC has been awarded A++ by
NAAC and has been ranked among top 50 colleges of the country by NIRF.
The Chief Guest of the event, Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar, former Chief Justice of India
urged the students to be creative and thoughtful in order to enjoy life and work. He
motivated the young learners to stay unfettered in their vision as the world holds limitless
possibilities for them.
The Guest of Honour, Prof. Gurmeet Singh, former Vice-Chancellor, Pondicherry University
appreciated the efforts of college managing committee and the parent body Delhi Sikh
Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) in facilitating remarkable growth of the
college. Sdr. Harmeet Singh Kalka, President, DSGMC graced the occasion with other senior
members of the body, Sdr. Atma Singh Lubana and Sdr. Parwinder Singh Lucky. Sdr. MPS
Chadha, Chairman, Governing Body of the college appreciated the efforts of the faculty in
inspiring the students to work hard and bring laurels to the institution. The students were
felicitated for their achievements in academics, sports and events organized by 45
professional, cultural and social outreach societies.
