Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Monday exposed the claims of the Delhi Government that Delhi is getting world-class facilities in education, health and other sectors with figures and sought answers from the Government. Bidhuri said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could not answer on any issue.
While replying to the motion of thanks on the Lieutenant Governor’s address, Bidhuri said in the last nine years, the budget of the Delhi government has increased two and a half times but the results of Delhi have declined by 14 percent.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) allotted land to the government to build 13 schools but not a single school was built. Today, about 7,000 seats of EWS quota are lying vacant in government schools. The government gave loans to only two students for higher education but Rs 19.27 crore was spent on advertisements of this scheme. There is a huge shortage of teachers in schools and the Chief Minister did not ensure the availability of guest teachers even after making a promise, the BJP leader said.
Bidhuri said the condition of the health department is also the same. The date of 2025 is being given for ultrasound in the biggest hospital of Delhi government.
The High Court is asking that there are only 6 CT scan machines for 3 crore people and they too are often out of order. Fake test scams is happening in Mohalla clinics while 75 percent posts of doctors and 20 percent of paramedical posts are lying vacant in hospitals.
