ICW 2025: Suneet Varma Showcases ‘Sehr’ with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as Muse

Designer Suneet Varma unveiled his latest couture collection, “Sehr”, at the Hyundai FDCI India Couture Week 2025, blending romantic textures with nature-inspired motifs. Entrepreneur and jewellery designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni turned muse for the designer’s showcase at the Taj Palace on Thursday evening.

The collection featured lehengas, sarees, sherwanis, gowns, and dresses adorned with intricate embroidery, floral patterns, and a mix of jewel tones, pastels, and regal hues like midnight blue, charcoal black, and metallic gold. White, a standout in the palette, was prominent in Riddhima’s showstopper lehenga.

Varma’s set design echoed the theme of flora and fauna, with paper cutouts of trees, insects, and animals, while models sported bird-shaped headdresses. A curated playlist of vintage tracks, including Asha Bhosle’s “Yeh Hai Reshmi Zulfon Ka Andhera” and Lata Mangeshkar’s “Aa Jane Jaa”, along with natural sounds like chirping birds, enhanced the ambiance.

Riddhima walked the ramp in an off-white skirt paired with a silver corset top, embellished with intricate silver embroidery and pink-yellow floral details. “The first time I ever set foot on a ramp, 18 years ago, was for Suneet. It feels amazing to work with him again,” she said.
