Tree Plantation Drive Organized in Rohini Schools to Promote Environmental Protection

New Delhi: Akhil Bhartiya Poojniya Sumitra Mata Ji Gramin Vikas Sanstha organized a tree plantation drive at various government schools in Rohini with the objective of promoting environmental protection and creating a greener environment. The organization has been working in the fields of environment, education, health, women empowerment and livelihood.
The plantation programme was organized at Nagar Nigam Vidyalaya, Rohini Sector-4; C.M. Shri Vidyalaya, Rohini Sector-2; Rajkiya Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Rohini Sector-6; and Nagar Nigam Vidyalaya, Rohini Sector-8, among other locations.
Advocate Brij Mohan Garg was present on the occasion. Principals, teachers and school students actively participated in the plantation drive.
Among those present were Dr. Virendra Singh, Shri Ram Kumar, Mrs. Rekha Arora, Rajni Sharma, Mrs. Shalu Yadav, Mrs. Sushma, Renu Sharma and Teacher Saroj Rani, along with other dignitaries and school staff.
The organization emphasized that planting trees is only the first step and that their regular care and protection are equally important for environmental conservation. The organization also undertakes various social initiatives related to education, healthcare, women empowerment, livelihood and environmental protection.
President Chandra Prakash Mishra and Secretary Vijay Kumar expressed their gratitude to all the principals, teachers, students and dignitaries for their cooperation and support in making the plantation programme successful.
