Breaking his silence on the controversy propagated by the Opposition over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said, there is a threat of infiltrators that our nation faces and they cannot be allowed to partake of the resources of our country. The PM was speaking at a public rally in Bihar’s Gaya district in from where he launched projects worth over `13,000 crore in the State where Assembly elections are due later this year. Echoing the same sentiments in another massive rally in Kolkata late evening,
Modi said infiltrators are burden on economy and only genuine voters can stop them. “Political parties like TMC, Congress support infiltrators for appeasement politics and thus West Bengal’s demography are changing due to infiltration. TMC has to be removed from power to ensure infiltrators leave Bengal,” Modi said in Kolkata. Modi charged the Congress-led INDIA bloc trying to protect infiltrators and shielding those with corruption taint.
