Massive fire at Serum Institute of India’s plant in Pune

21 Jan 21 Amassive fire has broken out at a plant of Serum Institute of India in Manjri area of Pune. No person is trapped inside the under-construction building, as per initial information.Eight fire tenders are on the spot. The cause of fire at SII plant is not yet known. Covishield vaccine against coronavirus is being manufactured by the Serum Institute in India. Sources said the production of Covishiled was not being carried out at the SII building where a major fire broke out on Thursday.
