09 Dec 2020 Emergency use authorization has not been granted to Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech’s Covid-19 vaccines over lack of data, Bharat Biotech had on Monday applied to the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) seeking emergency use authorisation for its Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin, which is being indigenously developed by the Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical firm in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
